2 more days until CANADA!!!

Veronica enjoying the pool with Daddy!! OK the water was a little cool but she enjoyed it after some warm water was added. This has become a nice weekend activity for the two of them!

Our list is made, laundry is done, and Mike has already packed! We are getting ready for CANADA!!! I am so excited to see everyone and to have everyone see and spend time with Veronica.

The only down side ish is Veronica's top teeth are coming in - front two and possibly side ones. I have been watching her gums get thick, then get that clear look and now she is looking a bit like a vampire with little points beginning to poke through. This also makes for an incredibly cranky and non sleeping baby. We had a good run where she was sleeping a solid 12-13 hours only getting up twice. I knew what time she got up and how long it would take to put her back to sleep. Mike and I were beginning to get rested. And then it started getting harder and harder to get her to sleep... Tempera was given, no success, cold chew toys, no success... hour long walks where she would fall in and out of sleep... no success. Yesterday she had her nap, got up at almost noon and then it took us 4.5 hours to get her to sleep at night.. from 7-11:30. Poor thing was exhausted (as were her parents). She then only slept 5.5 hours and was up from 5 am until 10:15 this morning. She is like a walking zombie! I am trying to be smarter about things and sleep at the same time she does. I have just woken from a 2 hour nap and must now get her up for her last physio for a while!

Painting!! This was not the raging success I hoped it would be but she did enjoy looking at the colours and smushing them with her fingers.

Her new trick. She spent a good hour putting her hat on her head and taking it off. She then moved onto her headband. She also has been trying to put the headband on her teddy bears!
