Things are coming together!

She is such a dribble monster!!!

Some exciting news!!!! Veronica is now using her weaker arm to hit things in her “gym”. We have been able to hang up the plastic spoons (and Panda of course) in a place where she will lift her arm and swing it to hit them. Recently she has brought up her arm so her hand can go on her stomach and this morning she brought her arm up and put her hand in her mouth!!! It was very exciting to see but I think she is figuring out how to use gravity to her advantage and not her bicep. She is also able to lift her arm up shoulder height, while lying down. I am working on her doing this while sitting. More progress!!! Fingers crossed no operation!

Still no internet in our apartment. I had thought it would be rectified by today as we now have a bank account but it looks like we now have to wait for our bank card to arrive. Hopefully we will have internet soon and no more crusty internet points!!! Oh and the only place in Italy to cash travelers cheques is at the airport or an American express bank. All these places also charge to cash them. Poor Mike took the train to the airport to go to the bank and got there at 4 pm. The bank had closed at 3:30 pm. We have been able to exchange some of our money – they have a limit and then we have to wait another 10 days before exchanging the rest of them. I guess it is to protect from fraud.
