Veronica

What a little trouper! She has been dragged from Canada to Italy, around Milan and Rome without much fuss. Except for peeing all over me - so it looked like I had peed myself - on the train back from Milan and occaisonally crying for whole bus rides she travels without much fuss.  Oh and of course, pooping - you all know what she looks and sounds like when she does that! - in some very public places. And let me tell you, people, male and female of Italy LOVE her. Who wouldn't? I am getting very good at saying "duo mese" - 2 months when people say "Piccola, piccola, piccola Bambina!!! " - small baby. It is really sweet to see how excited and generous people are when they see her. I ALWAYS get a seat on the buses and metros and we even had a lady walk us to the metro - even though we knew where we were going we couldn't figure out how to tell her that.

She is getting a little sick of her "gym" and perfers sitting up right now. She is happily grabbing (or trying to grab) at things and bring them to her mouth. She is "chatting" alot more now as well. She likes the song skinna marinky dinky dink and tries to say I Love You. I have posted some videos but of course when we try to tape her doing something she doesn't want to do it.  the videos were taken today :)
Jet lag has been difficult. She has a pattern now where one night she will go to sleep at a reasonable time and get up at a reasonable time, the second night she says up until 5 am. I am trying to get her up every morning at a good time and keep her awake but because we are setting things up and moving aroung so much she generally just sleeps most of the day and then is up. Since we have been here she is also eating like a fiend. I am not sure if it is a comfort thing or what but she eats every hour and a half - two hours during the day.
Overall Veronica is still a happy little girl on a trip, seeing amazing things, experiencing lots that she will never remember.

The internet is very slow so i will upload videos when better!
