Prima Scarpe Oggi!!!!!

Today Veronica and I shlept into town and went to a shoe store called Bimbo Shoes. I bought Veronica her first pair of  "grown up" shoes... or actually sandals. On Monday the physio told me I had to buy her shoes by either Kickers or Falcotto. Something to do with the foot support and soles. I guess she felt that when Veronica was standing or trying to balance she was balancing on the outside of her feet and it was effecting her foot-pinky toe. I don't know, I didn't really understand. All I know is those two brands are difficult to find and hella expensive. Anyways, we successfully bought a lovely pair and have since been testing them out. She has wobbled around like a drunk person trying to get used to them and then strutted into the grocery store... stood in the doorway and smiled at everyone... what a character. Then, we met Mike on his walk home. My hope is all this walking outside will tire her out and improve her sleep even more. On that note.. her sleep has been really good, only getting up twice a night over 12 hours. It makes for well rested and happy parents (and baby!!). 

All this walking has made me see what is in my future with a toddler... I was talking to a woman at the grocery store, looked down and poof! she was gone!!! Luckily she can't go very far but man she is quick when she wants to be.
