Father's Day did not exactly go as planned. Veronica decided to have another night where she did not sleep. Daddy had to take her for a walk in the middle of the night to get her down. Next she decided to have a half hour nap!!!
We decided to go into town and have a nice hamburger at a place Mum and I ate at. Veronica was very good in her stroller and did not put up much of a fuss... until we got to the restaurant..
Oh, and while on the bus going into town, Mike, had a lady bug on his collar. So, I thought I would hold the collar out and blow the lady bug and it would fly away!!! Instead, when I blew on the lady bug it flipped into his shirt!!! For the rest of the trip in all he could feel was this lady bug crawling around in his chest hair!!! It finally flew out and away at the metro.
Once at the restaurant Veronica was full of beans and could not sit still!!! She wanted to be walking and crawling everywhere. We gave her bread to suck and chew on but her new trick is shoving things as far into her mouth as she can and then doing something else!!! Such a nut. So mike quickly ate his burger while I held our squirmy daughter then we switched. After we ate we let her roam the restaurant for a bit and then headed home. Of course, as soon as we headed home she fell asleep! All in all, it was a nice meal but not exactly the relaxing day we had hoped for.
