A STEP, and other fun videos.

In the last few weeks Veronica has become VERY mobile! She crawls everywhere, pulls herself up to standing position, uses tables, sofas, and really any surface she can to help her walk. The last couple of days she has been practicing walking (very unsteadily) holding onto 1 of our hands. When holding our hand we try to keep our arms limp so she is just using it as balance but can't put weight on it (did I explain that properly???). A couple of nights ago, she was standing on the sofa and took a little step by herself. We wondered if we could get her to repeat this.... and on camera We have managed to catch her twice doing her little step. She is getting so big!!!

This is so cute.. She likes to turn actions into games.. here is an example! She also just managed to get this skill and not fall over so I think she wanted to practice it!

While of course we want her to walk and develop I wonder what effect this will have on her arm. When she crawls she strengthens her muscles and uses her arm but what will happen when she really starts to walk. At the moment she is also big on trying to climb things, sofas, beds, and boxes we have her toys in. This helps her arm as she pulls and pushes herself with it. Another consequence of her mobility is bruises. She has but a number of bruises up and down her shins - even one on her bum!!!

This is Veronica eating in Sorrento. The reason for the video is because she was doing crazy tongue movements while eating.

A throw back to Veronicas pukier days!

Bless you!!
