Yesterday Veronica and I went to Mikes work to be experimented on. I can't really get into what they were doing and why but it was interesting. First they looked at Veronica who, naturally, did not do what they wanted until they had taken all the markers off so they couldn't record anything. Next it was my turn... After spending an hour of putting things on me they started.... only to have to stop so I could feed an unhappy Veronica. Then they started again. The stuff they wanted me to do was hard and I had to redo a couple of things and even then I couldn't do it. So we moved on... A co-worker of Mike's was helping out keeping Veronca happy.... However, she was in a mood where all she wanted was mum. In the end Mike had to stop the experiment because Veronica was too unhappy.
For me, it is always interesting to see more of Mikes work because it helps me understand more about what he does and why he does it.

ReplyDeleteI'm gonna throw it out there - It doesn't look like there's anything wrong with Veronica's arm.
ReplyDeleteStephen you're sweet. It is MUCH much better, especially since you last saw her. It still has some work to do... she does not have any external rotation and her arm is a bit litteler than her other and she has trouble bringing the palm of her hand to her mouth... and she has a winged scapula. BUT having said all that if she never regains any more function she will be fine just as it is now :)
