What a wonderful weekend I have had. I started being spoiled Friday night when I opened my present from Mike. Last Spring I saw a watch I liked which Mike ended up getting it on e-bay for me. I knew about this present because I had tried it on and had a slink taken out so it fit better. Mike would not let me wear it ahead of time because he said he wanted me to have a present to open on my birthday. Imagine my surprise when I opened the watch box and saw not only my watch but a little jewelery box.. Inside was the most beautiful and sparkley pair of diamond earrings!!! I AM SOOOO SPOILED!!!
Saturday morning (my actual birthday) started off with delicious pastries and milk in bed with my hubby and V. After breakfast we had showers and then took the bus into town to go shopping. For those of you who know how awful it can be shopping with Mike... let me tell he was WONDERFUL!! I ended up spending almost all of my birthday money on three items of clothing... a skirt, a dress, and a shirt..It was a wonderful shopping trip and Veronica slept the whole time! We came home and had a lovely evening talking to family and friends.. ordering pizza... feeding Veronica... and just having an amazing time together. I love my family and look forward to what the next decade of my life holds.
